After 40 minutes of walking through beautiful paths we reach the old castle-monastery of the order of Jesuits. Although the monastery was burned twice still remains outstanding and imressive. As we walking towards to Melanes village we can see many old water mills and also we can see the ancient underground aqueduct which was built at the 6th century B.C and through this the water was transfered to Naxos town, Chora.
